Close to cabo, where most of us HAVE to use it because there is no power or water coming in from the city. A good way to learn.

80 % of the houses in East Cape are solar power!.

MMM.. The best in los cabos to print a coffee table book… Use the internet print in US and have it ship, JA because the only place we know of is Costco.

Is it easy to find fishing charters by walking the docks and bartering with the captians. What should I expect the cost to be for 3 people on a 28ft boat fishing for Marlin for a full day with out drinks or lunch included?

It would be hard NOT to find captains and sailors alike selling you the service on the docks, you will be overwhelm by the number. You will be ask to go see the boat, they will show you pictures, and you can bargain all day long, prices will range from 230 to 500 depending on the boat, and your bargain patience, Be sure they include the license and some might allow that you buy your own lunch in the near by restaurant or stores. Just take a walk around the Marina, and shop, it is full of all kinds of boats and packages. No wonders why Cabo is the Marlin Capital of the world.

How much should I pay for a taxi from the airport to Melia Cabo Real for 2 people?

Anything, be sure to fix the amount before you jump into the taxi, do not board unofficial taxis, there has been reports of bad experiences.
You should pay like $50 bucks for the both of you, Try calling Melia to see if they would refound some of this, or if they have any special arrengements with some taxi companies.

Just grab a taxi, with the airplane logo on it, and be sure is paid for or you know exaclty what you are going to pay, probably you can rent a car for 70 bucks and return it in the hotel.

I am thinking of renting a car in Cabo, taking it to the airport, then dropping off the car at the airport. Which car rental companies have offices at both Cabo and the airport?

All companies have their offices at the Airport, and not all at Cabo, so the one you find in Cabo will have office at the airport for you to drop the car, In Cabo some offices are hidden in a hotel Looby, but you will find, National, Budget and Hertz in the main street of Cabo,

It is trustworthy when up to date, sometimes Los Cabos Guide wont have their agreements up to date, as you can read in the website…
Removed from the Prepaid Voucher program.
Clients should return all purchased vouchers for a refund.
I think the guys at hauter are doing a better job with this kind of program, with no risk involve since you get the discount when you get there.

Grupo Villas, or Cabo Villas has an agreement with a taxi union and they will charge 18 USD per person.

If you are taking a bus from Cabo to Tijuana or the other way around, the best thing will be to be ready for hell! it is a 1000 miles of continuos stops.

In Cabo find the main bus depot and Valerio ST. close to downtown and hope on the Peninsular bound to La Paz, from there you might have to change bus or wait, keep going north, and in about 4 days of you would be on TJ. It is a long and expencive ride, specially if you cosider the new airliners like Volaris.com they would take you Cabo/Tijuana for 89 buks, in a 2 hour rides, the bus will be almost the same money, but it takes long heat hours to make it happend.

There is no staihgt bus, but there is only one highway, highway 1, going north you will end up in San Diego, going south Cabo is the last stop.

What is the average cost (US dollars) to visit Cabo?

Cabo has a wide variety of hotels, but most of the resorts are 5 stars or above that in very special categories. Cabo charters for everyone.
But the average cost, would be like $500 a day at a 5 star beach front resort, per couple including transportation, food away from the resort, party and some beer. But you can do some camping for much much leess or you can stay at a $4500 suite and charter a helicopter, of course this is not the average.
350 to 600 USD per couple, having a great fun hot time in Cabo.
